WRESTLING FUNDAMENTALS

Open to teens and adults, this class will focus on building confidence with fundamental movements and positions of wrestling, suitable for both beginners and those looking to enhance their skills for BJJ or MMA.
Participants will learn wrestling posture, stance, basic attacks, and defense techniques, with a focus on both upper body and lower body attacks. Sessions will be sequential, with each building upon the previous one to ensure consistent improvement. The primary emphasis will be on principles, backed by individual techniques.
The class format includes a 10-15 minute warm-up with movement drills, followed by specific technique instruction and extensive movement and position-specific drilling.
Participants can attend in shorts and a t-shirt; rashguards and tights are also acceptable. While headgear and knee pads are optional, they can be beneficial for added protection.
